If you subscribe to article notifications through the knowledge base page, we collect your email address solely for the purpose of notifying you when new articles are published. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us at info@birdieiq.co.uk.

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes.

How we use your data

We use the information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry and to discuss whether a BirdieIQ Full Membership Assessment would be appropriate for your club. We will not use your data for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

We do not sell, share or transfer your personal data to third parties.

Membership data submitted for assessment

Where a club submits membership data for the purposes of a BirdieIQ assessment, that data is governed separately by a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) entered into between BirdieIQ and the club.

All membership data submitted for analysis is pseudonymised at the point of receipt — each member record is identified only by an opaque Member ID, with no name or contact information. The fields processed are: join date, leave date, date of birth or banded age category, gender, membership type, handicap index, and handicap registered date. These fields are used solely to produce lifecycle, demographic and benchmark analysis. No individual member can be identified from the outputs we produce or the benchmark data we retain.

Legal basis for processing

We process your contact enquiry data on the basis of legitimate interests — specifically, responding to a direct enquiry you have chosen to submit. You are under no obligation to provide this information and may withdraw your enquiry at any time by emailing info@birdieiq.co.uk.

How long we retain your data

Enquiry data is retained for a maximum of 24 months from the date of submission, unless a commercial relationship is established, in which case data is retained in accordance with our standard business record-keeping practices.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at info@birdieiq.co.uk.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@birdieiq.co.uk.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure or loss. Enquiry data submitted through this website is transmitted securely via HTTPS.
